Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Tanner C. Demmery is a seasoned South Florida trial attorney who has spent nearly two decades in the courtroom fighting for people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. With approximately 75 jury trials and thousands of cases handled throughout his career, Tanner has built a reputation as a battle-tested advocate who is comfortable where results matter most, inside the courtroom.
Tanner brings a rare and valuable perspective to every case, having served on both sides of the justice system. Early in his career, he prosecuted serious criminal cases in Broward County, ultimately rising to the prestigious Sexual Battery Unit. He later served as a Bureau Chief in the Florida Keys before transitioning to the role of a lead public defender in Fort Lauderdale, where he defended individuals facing life-altering criminal accusations. This dual experience gives him a strategic edge in understanding how prosecutors, insurance companies, and opposing counsel evaluate cases and how to effectively challenge them.
